The exceptional singer has always had a soft spot for this time of year. With the two classics "Christmas in my Heart" and "Best Side of Life", the soul queen already released one of the most successful Christmas albums of all time in Germany over 15 years ago. With her new Christmas album "NOT SO SILENT NIGHT", which will be released on 18.11, Sarah Connor now presents a Christmas album that is completely free of cover versions and exclusively features new works describing the many facets of the most beautiful time of the year.
"Of course I love the Christmas songs, the decorated windows and illuminated streets, the kitsch. In return, I hate the overconsumption, the hectic pace, how quickly everything is over, and how everyone pulls themselves together on Christmas Eve to avoid irritating topics. I miss my beloved grandma terribly every Christmas. I love the excited children's eyes and I love hosting Christmas for them and I hope we can keep it up for a long time, maybe someday with a female Santa who has a different skin colour than me or comes on a futuristic car instead of a sleigh."
